Achievements Made in the Competition Activity by Yemen Subsidiary

Ever since the activity of comparing with, learning from, overtaking the advanced and helping those lagged behind, ZPEB Yemen subsidiary, in accordance with the arrangements of higher-level organs and by combining with actual condition of the company, has been vigorously performing the activity and achieved good results. From Jan to June, the subsidiary has accumulatively spud in 7 wells, delivered 8 wells, made drill footage of 24,039m, and performed workover service of 14 wells. It has achieved the revenue (output value) of 167 million yuan, gained good economic benefits and laid a sound foundation for fulfilling the annual operation task.

The subsidiary has been implementing scientific outlook on development, closely focusing on the main task set by ZPEB for building the internationally comprehensive contractor of petroleum engineering service and the objectives set by the subsidiary for building an international petroleum engineering force with strong competitiveness, mobilizing the enthusiasm of staff at all units and posts to perform the activity, motivating the cadres and workers to carry forward the spirits of winning the banner and striving for the first, and further enhancing the competitive strength of petroleum engineering service by means of establishing standards, comparing standards, following standards and creating new standards.
