ZPEB Geophysical Prospecting Company can offer geophysical prospecting services, involving seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation for the areas of in plain, hilly land, lakes, cities and towns, mountain areas, shallow sea, and the Gobi desert. The current available technical services are VSP, 2D, 3D, and high-resolution seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation, etc.. The annual capability of 3D seismic data acquisition is 600Km2, 2D seismic data acquisition 5000km, 3D seismic data processing 2000Km2, and 2D seismic data processing 20,000km.

ZPEB Geophysical Prospecting has obtained ISO9002 Quality System Certification and joined the International Association of Geophysics Contractor (IAGC). It is well equipped with 2086 sets of instrument and equipment suitable for various seismic surveys at home and abroad. The seismic data acquisition systems available are: SN-408UL, SYSTEM-IMAGE, TELSEIS STAR, SN-388, SYSTEM 2000, global positioning system, Total Station, On-site seismic data processing equipment, large-tonnage Vibroseis, rigs and various better performance cross-country vehicles. The seismic processing systems available include an advanced giant computer system, super server and many sets of advanced workstations. It is also equipped with many world advanced seismic data processing and interpretation systems introduced from CSD and Landmark from U.S.A, CGG from France, and Paradigm from Israel.

ZPEB Geophysical Prospecting has offered high efficiency and high quality services for many domestic and foreign customers in 3D seismic survey, high-resolution seismic survey, true-3D seismic jointed surveys processing, integrated interpretation, pre-stack depth migration, and satellite positioning. It entered into Sudan to conduct geophysical exploration in 1996, and set up a ZPEB Seismic Data Processing and Interpretation Center in Khartoum, capital of Sudan, in 1997.
